Considering that Sony has failed severely with the Eye/Eyetoy and the Sixaxis, I can't imagine a combination of the two will do any better. Seriously, think about it. Sixaxis was highly touted when the PS3 was new, yet what has happened to it? It was stripped out of the biggest PS3 release in years, while that game's prequel used it.
Though I'm not going to lie, the sixaxis grenade throwing in Uncharted was horrible </bltant reference to what I'm talking about for those who don't know>
I think with the sixaxis, they were quickly trying to respond to the Wii after they announced the controller. It was definitely poorly done, but I think the Move can succeed at bringing that Wii style of gameplay to the PS3 because they have had quite awhile to design and test the knock-off, and they know that is exactly what it is. The reason I think it'll be neat is because the controls will actually have current hardware to back up the control style for its games, as well as PS3s network and development teams. They already showed off SOCOM 4 using it.
Now I am not saying I want to replace the regular DS3 with this Move, but I just think if you want to have any kind of motion experience, this seems like the best way to go. There have been some good ideas and things on the Wii that would be cool to see done with some power behind it, like Red Steel, and I would still like to see a Pikmin style RTS thing with controllers like this..
